While the first trailer released for the James Gunn flick made things look extra silly, this latest look at\u00a0<em>The Suicide Squad<\/em> attempts to raise the stakes a bit, highlighting that despite all the wisecracking, these characters are on a mission \u2013 a\u00a0<em>deadly<\/em> mission that will probably get most of them killed. As <strong>Viola Davis<\/strong> says as Amanda Waller, this mission is more important than you can possibly imagine. Watch the latest\u00a0<em>The Suicide Squad<\/em> trailer below.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Suicide_Squad_Trailer\"><\/span><strong>The Suicide Squad Trailer<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"THE SUICIDE SQUAD \u2013 Official \u201cRain\u201d Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eg5ciqQzmK0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->As far as trailers go, I have to admit that the previous red band and green band trailers for\u00a0<em>The Suicide Squad<\/em> were a lot better than this latest look at the film. I get it: Warner Bros. wants to sell audiences on lots and lots of action, since they think that\u2019s what\u2019s going to put butts in seats. And they\u2019re probably right! Still, I really enjoyed the silly, nothing-really-matters attitude of the previous trailers a bit more than this.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not to say the film looks bad! Indeed,\u00a0<em>The Suicide Squad<\/em> continues to look like one of the summer\u2019s most entertaining rides. I\u2019m particularly interested to see James Gunn move from Marvel to DC with this flick (although he\u2019ll be returning to Marvel for\u00a0<em>Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3<\/em>, of course).<\/p>\n<p>This trailer sets up the mission for the squad: they have to erase all traces of something known only as \u201cProject Starfish.\u201d The trailer doesn\u2019t go into exactly what that is, but it clearly involves\u00a0Starro, the giant alien starfish that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be the film\u2019s big bad. We also get a little more time with Weasel, the hideous monster character who has been mostly in the background in previous trailers. And that\u2019s fun! My biggest qualm, though: there\u2019s less Polka-Dot Man here. We want\u00a0<em>more<\/em> Polka-Dot Man, not less!
