\nT-Pain got brutally honest in a clip from the new Netflix series<\/a>\u00a0This Is Pop,<\/em> admitting he fell into a deep depression after Usher blatantly told him he and Auto-Tune \u201ckinda fucked up music.\u201d Although T-Pain initially thought Usher was making a joke, he quickly realized he was being 100 percent authentic.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then he was like, \u2018Yeah man you really fucked up music for real singers,\u2019\u201d T-Pain added. \u201cI was like, \u2018What did I do? I came out and I used Auto-Tune.\u2019 He was like, \u2018Yeah, you fucked it up.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018But I used it, I didn\u2019t tell everybody else to start using it.\u2019 That is the very moment, and I don\u2019t even think I realized this for a long time, but that\u2019s the very moment that started a four-year depression for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
