Trading went live on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Dubai time.<\/p>\n<p>The new listing marks the emergence of Middle East\u2019s first indexed digital asset-based fund, 3iQ chairman and CEO Frederick Pye previously <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/canadas-3iq-bring-middle-easts-first-listed-crypto-fund-nasdaq-dubai-2021-04-20\/\">said<\/a>. Pye was optimistic about BTC price, predicting a new all-time high in 2021:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI believe that, whether it h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ens this year, Bitcoin is going to get to a new all-time-high. Yesterday\u2019s Bitcoin closed at $32,000-a-unit and this morning it opened up at $34,000, so we got about a five percent boom in the price of Bitcoin since yesterday. Hopefully we\u2019re going to get a good move on the first day of the Dubai Nasdaq.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Bitcoin ETF from 3iQ and CoinShares goes live in Canada<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3iQ received regulatory clearance for a dual listing of the Bitcoin Fund on Nasdaq Dubai in April 2021, planning to start trading in the second quarter. Pye said that the company was also in talks with other exchanges in Singapore, Taiwan, Sweden and the United States to list the fund.<\/p>\n<p>The firm is one of the largest cryptocurrency companies in Canada. It\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/betakit.com\/3iq-first-firm-to-have-osc-and-csa-approved-crypto-fund\/\">became<\/a>\u00a0the first crypto fund to be regulated by the Ontario Securities Commission and the Canadian Securities Administrators in January 2018.
