Hong Kong-based distributor Ani-One has revealed that <\/span>Higurashi: When They Cry SOTSU <\/span><\/i>and the second season of <\/span>I\u2019m Standing on A Million Lives<\/span><\/i> will be coming to their YouTube<\/a> channel for Southeast Asia and other countries for the Summer 2021 season.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Higurashi: When They Cry SOTSU<\/span><\/i> is scheduled to premiere on July 1 at 11:30PM (GMT+8). The first two episodes will air consecutively on the same day, and subsequent episodes will be uploaded weekly. A second <\/span>PV<\/span><\/a> for the anime<\/a> was released on June 20, previewing the ending song by Konomi Suzuki, titled \u201cMissing Promise.\u201d The <\/span>opening song<\/span><\/a>, titled \u201cAnalogy,\u201d will be sung by Ayane, who performed two ending theme<\/a> songs for <\/span>Higurashi: When They Cry \u2013 GOU<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sotsu<\/span><\/i> is the <\/span>continuation<\/span> of <\/span>Higurashi: When They Cry \u2013 Gou <\/span><\/i>and also serves as its Answer arc. <\/span>Gou <\/span><\/i>premiered as <\/span>Higurashi: When They Cry \u2013 New<\/span><\/i>, before <\/span>revealing its actual title to be <\/span>Gou<\/span><\/i> after the release of the second episode. Like <\/span>Gou<\/span><\/i>, the staff for <\/span>Sotsu<\/span><\/i> includes Keiichir\u014d Kawaguchi as director, Naoki Hayashi as series<\/a> composer, Akio Watanabe as character designer, Takashi Ikehata as assistant director, and Kenji Kawai as music composer. Passione is in charge of the animation production. Meanwhile, the cast includes Yukari Tamura as Rika Furude, Mika Kanai as Satoko Honj\u014d, Soichiro Hoshi as Keiichi Maebara, Mai Nakahara as Rena Ry\u016bg\u016b, and Satsuki Yukino as Mion and Shion Sonozaki.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The second season of <\/span>I\u2019m Standing on A Million Lives<\/span><\/i> will premiere on July 10, at 12:30AM (GMT+8), one week after Japan. The anime is <\/span>slated<\/span> for a July 2 release in Japan.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MAHO FILM is in charge of the animation production with various key staff returning such as Kumiko Habara as director, Takao Yoshioka as series composer, Ken It\u014d as music composer, Satoru Shibata as art director, and others. Japanese Virtual YouTuber Kaede Higuchi from the Nijisanji group will perform the opening theme song \u201cBaddast,\u201d while Kanako Takatsuki returns to perform the ending theme song \u201cSubversive.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The anime is based on the manga series written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
