He\u2019s going out in a blaze of glory.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sparking up cheers and app<\/a>lause as he took his first pull, Conan O\u2019Brien shared a joint with weed-wielding comedia<\/a>n Seth Rogen on live television Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The smoky stunt was one of the late-night talk show host\u2019s swan song shenanigans leading up to the finale of his TBS series<\/a>, \u201cConan,\u201d which will air its last episode Thursday after 11 seasons.\u00a0(He\u2019s been a late-night fixture for 28 years if you include his run on NBC.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the kind of thing you do when you know it\u2019s over for you,\u201d O\u2019Brien, 58, joked before lighting up the doobie that Rogen<\/a>, 39, serendipitously pulled out of his shirt pocket during their interview.\u00a0<\/p>\n

O\u2019Brien \u2014 who will be streaming his talents in a forthcoming weekly variety show for HBO Max in November\u00a0\u00a0\u2014 found himself on the business end of a blunt after asking Rogen\u2019s advice on how he should spend his \u201cdown time\u201d in the months before beginning his new project.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI would suggest \u2014 this is going to be hilariously on-brand: Try smoking a lot of weed for a long time,\u201d the \u201cPineapple Express\u201d actor advised.\u00a0<\/p>\n

O\u2019Brien<\/a> then outed himself as a nonmarijuana enthusiast, hilariously calling the plant a \u201cfine herb,\u201d and admitting to Rogen and \u201cConan\u201d co-host Andy Richter, 54, that whenever he had smoked weed in the past, \u201cnothing really happened\u201d\u2014 insinuating he hasn\u2019t experienced the drug\u2019s euphoric proprieties.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So Rogen, who owns weed company Houseplant, handed the talk show joker the joint from his pocket.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Noticeably unnerved by the \u201cKnocked Up\u201d star\u2019s ganja-fueled gesture, O\u2019Brien said, \u201cI swear to God, this is how lame I am. For a second I thought, \u2018He brought a\u00a0birthday candle?\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n

The live audience cheered him on as Rogen urged O\u2019Brien to take \u201cone hit\u201d of the spliff, assuring him it would be a \u201creally good time.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, he did.\u00a0<\/p>\n
