The first trailer<\/a> for Lifetime\u2019s \u201cHarry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace\u201d has been released and it teases that \u201cnot all fairytales have the perfect ending.\u201d<\/p>\n

The movie is set to air in the fall on the channel known for its incredibly cheesy and dramatic movies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEscaping the Palace\u201d is the third Lifetime film retelling the story of the former royals, this time focusing on their highly publicized exit<\/a> from the British royal family, dubbed \u201cMegxit.\u201d<\/p>\n

And as with most of its movies, Lifetime\u2019s iteration of the story spares no drama.<\/p>\n

The trailer begins with Jordan Dean as Prince Harry vowing to protect Sydney Morton as Meghan Markle. \u201cI see you literally being hounded to death and I\u2019m helpless to stop it,\u201d he says in the teaser.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am the person who is strong and gets things right,\u201d the fictional Meghan responds as she looks over the film\u2019s baby Archie.<\/p>\n

The couple then tells each other, \u201cI can\u2019t lose you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan Whalen will return as Prince William, Laura Mitchell as Kate Middleton, Steve Coulter as Prince Charles and Maggie Sullivan as Queen Elizabeth II, according to Entertainment Tonight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The official logline of the movie informs viewers that the film will recount \u201cwhat really happ<\/a>ened inside the palace that drove Harry and Meghan to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lifetime also promises that it will \u201cdetail Meghan\u2019s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that \u2018The Firm\u2019 was not defending them against the press\u2019s attacks and Harry\u2019s fear that history would repeat itself and he would not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that caused his mother\u2019s untimely death.\u201d<\/p>\n

The movie is also set to delve into the private feud between Harry and his brother Prince William and their father Prince Charles, as well the conflict between Meghan and her sister-in-law, Duchess Kate.<\/p>\n

Lifetime previously released films about the royal couple in 2018 (\u201cHarry & Meghan: A Royal Romance\u201d) and 2019 (\u201cHarry & Meghan: Becoming Royal\u201d).<\/p>\n

The latest iteration will also re-create Harry and Meghan\u2019s bombshell interview with Oprah in March, in which they were open about their struggles and decision to leave the royal family. Queen Elizabeth II has reportedly been \u201cdeeply upset\u201d by Prince Harry\u2019s oversharing<\/a>.\n <\/div>\n
