The 29-year-old was on Toronto\u2019s Most Wanted list at the time, with police announcing him as a fugitive in 2019 for the shooting and killing of Blain Grindley in Toronto\u2019s Rexdale neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>The 29-year-old rapper previously appeared in a documentary starring Drake that denounced Toronto gun violence.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Yung Lava - Conversation (BFR Diss)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bvxYFhsJYxQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Yung Lava, along with a man named Muzamil Aden Addow who was driving the truck, were found to have <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>ed to the U.S. illegally. Only one of the motions filed ended up being withdrawn, leading to Yung Lava changing to a guilty plea and admitting to the guns in the truck and his unlawful status in the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to find you mentally competent,\u201d Judge Nancy Brasel said regarding his plea agreement. \u201cYou\u2019ve asked good questions here today. I accept your plea and find you guilty as charged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a result, he could spend a maximum of 10 years in prison with a hefty $250,000 fine.
