The new sci-fi thriller comes from<strong> Brandon Cronenberg<\/strong>, the director behind the ultra-gory\u00a0<em>Possessor<\/em>, which means it\u2019s im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely a movie worth checking out. Neon, the distributors of Cronenberg\u2019s previous film, are handling this one as well, along with Topic Studios. The story follows a rich couple on vacation. That\u2019s good! But something dangerous is lurking beyond their hotel. That\u2019s bad!<\/p>\n<p><em>Possessor<\/em> was my favorite movie of last year \u2013 a brutal, gruesome, fascinating blend of sci-fi and body horror. It was directed by Brandon Cronenberg, son of David, and while the younger Cronenberg directed before\u00a0<em>Possessor<\/em>, it was\u00a0<em>Possessor\u00a0<\/em>that made me sit up and take notice. I will watch whatever Brandon Cronenberg does next. And what he\u2019s doing next is\u00a0<em>Infinity Pool<\/em>, a sci-fi thriller from Neon.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Neon announced today that\u00a0Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd would star in the film, which is set to being principal photography on September 6. In\u00a0<em>Infinity Pool<\/em>, \u201cJames and Em are young, rich, in love, and on vacation. Their all-inclusive resort boasts island tours and gleaming beaches. But outside of the hotel gates waits something much more dangerous and seductive, beyond the edge of paradise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>How mysterious! The\u00a0<em>Infinity Pool<\/em> title makes me think the story has something to do with immortality \u2013 a fountain of youth-type situation, perhaps? \u2013 but that\u2019s just speculation on my part. And for all I know, the film will remain mysterious until it\u2019s released. Telefilm Canada and the Croatian Film Fund will also co-finance the production. Karen Harnisch and Andrew Cividino of Film Forge, Noah Segal and Christina Piovesan of Elevation Pictures, and Rob Cotterill are producing, with Daniel Kresmery and Jonathan Halperyn co-producing for Hero Squared and Anita Juka for 4 Film. Tom Quinn, Jeff Deutchman, and Emily Thomas will serve as executive producers for NEON, Michael Bloom, Maria Zuckerman and Ryan Heller for Topic Studios, and Hen<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>h Panahi and Charlotte Mickie for Celluloid Dreams.\u00a0Neon will release <em>Infinity Pool<\/em> in the U.S. and Elevation Pictures will release the film in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Neon has seemingly become the new home for all-things-Cronenberg.
