Not only did the Italian filmmaker\u2019s 2017 film launch the star into the stratosphere and turn him into both an arthouse darling and a new Hollywood heartthrob, Guadagnino was one of the first directors to really know how to work with Chalamet\u2019s particular <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/2018\/10\/timothe-chalamet-is-the-perfect-movie-star-for-2018.html\">movie star appeal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So it\u2019s no wonder that the two are teaming up to work together again, this time on a cannibal romance,\u00a0<strong><em>Bones and All<\/em><\/strong>. The image shows Chalamet and star\u00a0<strong>Taylor Russell<\/strong>, who plays\u00a0Maren Yearly, a girl on a cross-country <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> with Lee (Chalamet), an \u201cintense and disenfranchised drifter,\u201d as \u201cshe searches for the father she\u2019s never met in an attempt to understand why she has the urge to kill and eat the people that love her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We may not ever get a\u00a0<em>Call Me By Your Name<\/em> sequel (for obvious reasons), but Guadagnino and Chalamet <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arently can\u2019t keep away from cannibals, with their latest project together,\u00a0<em>Bones and All<\/em>. The adaptation of\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2YqCMrE\">Camille DeAngelis\u2019 novel<\/a>\u00a0of the same name is described as a horror love story, and marks Guadagnino\u2019s first film shot in America \u2014 though it contains a lot of familiar elements for fans of the Italian filmmaker. A horror film following the director\u2019s 2018 remake of\u00a0<em>Suspiria<\/em>, a \u201clove story\u201d that looks like it could in line with the filmmaker\u2019s other sun-dappled romances, and a 1980s setting. And of course, Chalamet, his star of the also \u201980s-set\u00a0<em>Call Me By Your Name<\/em>, which co-starred a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/pop-culture\/armie-hammer-cannibalism-abuse-controversy\/\">might-be cannibal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Penned by his\u00a0<em>A Bigger Splash<\/em> writer\u00a0<strong>Dave Kajganich<\/strong>,\u00a0<em>Bones and All<\/em> does seem markedly grimier than Guadagnino\u2019s past films, especially in Chalamet\u2019s dirtied portrayal of a drifter. It looks like an exciting new role for the star, who\u2019s coming off roles in other buzzy films from Wes Anderson and Denis Villeneuve. He\u2019s helming the\u00a0upcoming Netflix thriller\u00a0<em>Beckett<\/em>\u00a0starring John David Washington and Alicia Vikander, and circling another\u00a0adaptation of\u00a0<em>Brideshead Revisited<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>If Guadagnino takes on any more projects, he might be worked to the bone, though we can still wonder about those unmade\u00a0<em>Suspiria<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Call Me By Your Name<\/em> sequels.
