“#HBO Max Orders New Amy Schumer Unscript<\/a>ed Series<\/a> ‘Amy Learns To\u2026’<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Amy Schumer is coming to HBO Max again.<\/p>\n

The streaming service has ordered the eight-episode unscripted Amy Learns To\u2026.<\/em> It\u2019s the second project with HBO Max for Schumer after her docuseries, Expecting Amy<\/em><\/a>, in 2020.<\/p>\n

Amy Learns To<\/em>\u2026 will see her \u201cstep out of her comfort zone and into someone else\u2019s,\u201d according to HBO Max. With each episode, she\u2019ll try to take on a new skill, craft, or trade \u2014 like diving for clams, selling real estate, performing a magic trick, or repairing a roof \u2014 from a local expert in Martha\u2019s Vineyard, her husband\u2019s hometown. \u201cShe\u2019ll meet each challenge with her signature wit, vulnerability and willingness to try anything,\u201d the logline reads.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are pumped for this,\u201d Schumer said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to be working with Amy again!\u201d Jennifer O\u2019Connell, executive vice president, Non-Fiction and Live-Action Family, HBO Max, added. \u201cShe is sure to surprise and amaze us with her willingness to push boundaries and try something new, always with a hilarious spin.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schumer also has the upcoming scripted comedy Life & Beth<\/em> coming to Hulu. It follows her character, Beth, whose life is great on paper \u2014 she\u2019s successful as a wine distributor, and in a long-term relationship \u2014 until she has to engage with her past. Flashbacks to when she was a teenager will show her how she became who she is and who she wants to become. The comedia<\/a>n is also bringing five new specials for Inside Amy Schumer<\/em><\/a> to Paramount+.<\/p>\n
