But the stakes are raised now, and the town of Haddonfield is poised to break out into hysteria now that they know The Shape has returned to their little town again. I said, \u201cOkay, that\u2019s enough, no more sequels!\u201d It\u2019s not that I didn\u2019t want more \u2014 of course I did, I love the\u00a0<em>Halloween<\/em> franchise. But I also felt that the end of that film finally gave Laurie Strode the closure she needed. But who was I kidding? The minute they announced not one, but two new\u00a0<em>Halloween<\/em> sequels, I im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely changed my mind. I am a simp for this franchise, folks.<\/p>\n<p><em>Halloween Kills<\/em>\u00a0picks up almost immediately where the last film left off \u2013 on Halloween night. The ending of\u00a0<em>Halloween<\/em>\u00a0had Laurie Strode, her daughter, and her granddaughter seemingly vanquishing Michael Myers and then escaping Laurie\u2019s burning house. When we last saw them they were in the back of a pick-up truck. But of course, Michael survived. They gather to try, once and for all, to take down Michael, to stop this madman\u2026 The [2018 movie] was more about Laurie\u2019s life of isolation after Michael and her attempts at revenge. It was personal. This is more about the unraveling of a community into chaos.
