For one mother-and-daughter duo, maybe not. In the latest episode of TLC\u2019s hit reality series<\/a> \u201csMothered,\u201d audiences witness Lauren and her mother, Lisa, as they consider that awkward possibility.<\/p>\n

However, it may not be so wacky for them: Mom Lisa already helped her daughter with an intimate, at-home attempt at artificial insemination.<\/p>\n

In this exclusive preview, Lauren and her wife, Laura Leigh, are joined by Lisa as they explain that process to Lauren\u2019s shocked fertility doctor.<\/p>\n

\u201csMothered\u201d\u00a0Season 3, co-produced by The Post, follows several pairs of mothers and daughters with outrageously close bonds, including the newest duo \u2014 Louisiana-based Lisa, 53, and Lauren, 27, who have regular sleepovers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the video, viewers get a glimpse into Lisa\u2019s overbearing nature while the three speak with the doctor. Things reach a contentious point when, out of the blue, Lisa asks the physician whether she could carry Lauren\u2019s baby for her should she be unable to do so. <\/p>\n

Which, evidently, is one of gobsmacked Laura Leigh\u2019s boundaries \u2014 her short reaction is bleeped.<\/p>\n

As for getting her mom\u2019s help with home insemination, Lauren explained, \u201cIt\u2019s really special to have my momma help me with that. She gave me life, and she got to put it inside of me. I\u2019m happ<\/a>y to have my No. 1 right there with me during that time.\u201d <\/p>\n

Although Lisa and Lauren field judgment from their social<\/a> circles, they stood firm on their decision to conduct an at-home insemination attempt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been wanting to have a baby for a long time now,\u201d said Lauren. \u201cThe way I see it, people\u2019s parents give them medicine or enemas as adults \u2026 I\u2019d prefer her over anyone else doing that.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201csMothered\u201d Season 3 airs every Monday at 9 p.m. on TLC.<\/p>\n
