The entertainment industry paid tribute to Conan O\u2019Brien on Thursday as he capp<\/a>ed off his 28-year late-night career with a farewell show featuring Will Ferrell, Jack Black, and Homer Simpson.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to believe it\u2019s our final show on TBS,\u201d O\u2019Brien said at the top of the show. \u201cEvery night, I always said we had a really great show. I was often lying. But tonight, we really do have a great show. And if we don\u2019t, what are you going to do about it? I\u2019ll be long gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show included a skit from The Simpsons<\/em>, which O\u2019Brien wrote on between 1991-1993, with Homer confusing the talk show host for an Impractical Joker. There was also a Zoom call from Ferrell, who had previously said his goodbyes when O\u2019Brien left The Tonight Show <\/em>in 2010. \u201cIt\u2019s f***ing exhausting,\u201d Ferrell joked before pre-taping farewell videos for O\u2019Brien\u2019s upcoming HBO Max show and potential future shows on Al Jazeera, MTV3 and Delta Inflight.<\/p>\n
