Robinson is teaming up with <strong>J.J. Abrams<\/strong> to executive produce <em><strong>Madame X<\/strong><\/em>, a new HBO Max series that is based on the DC Comics character of the same name.<br \/><span id=\"more-679057\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/madame-x-jj-abrams-dc-hbo-max-1234974075\/\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, J.J. Abrams and his wife\/business partner <strong>Katie McGrath<\/strong> personally recruited Robinson into the fold at Warner Bros. TV specifically so she could lead the charge on developing this <em>Madame X<\/em> series. Abrams and Robinson became friends through the Time\u2019s Up organization, where McGrath serves as the governing board of directors\u2019 co-secretary.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-679066 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Madame-X-2-700x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Madame-X-2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Madame-X-2-360x154.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_is_Madame_X\"><\/span>Who is Madame X?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Madame X (not to be confused with Marvel\u2019s Madame Web) is a DC character who first <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared in the comics in the late 1970s. Her comics backstory is fairly convoluted, but the gist of it is that she has been on Earth for a long time: she\u2019s a sorceress who was related to Morgana and the Lady of the Lake, from the Arthurian legends. She had a romantic relationship with Merlin that went south, and he ended up s<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>ping her of her magic. Her <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Madame_Xanadu\">wiki page<\/a> says that she wandered the globe serving as an advisor to several high-profile figures throughout history, including the warlord Kublai Khan at Xanadu, leading to her getting the name \u201cMadame Xanadu,\u201d or Madame X. She once beat Death in a card <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>, which granted her immortality, and in the modern era, she works as a tarot card-reading psychic and fortune-teller.\u00a0<strong>Jeryl Prescott<\/strong>\u00a0previously played Madame X on <em>Swamp Thing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>THR says the Madame X character is part of the Justice League Dark universe and describes her as \u201ca sorceress who has helped the Suicide Squad and serves as Spectre\u2019s spiritual adviser and, in DC\u2019s\u00a0<em>The New 52,\u00a0<\/em>assists the Dark League and was revealed to be the mother of villain Doctor Destiny.\u201d Abrams, whose Bad Robot Productions has a $250 million deal with Warner<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a>, is already involved with building out <em>Justice League Dark<\/em>\u00a0universe on HBO Max, including a <em>Justice League Dark<\/em> show, a <em>Constantine<\/em> series, and potentially even movies as well.
