\nAs the\u00a0Chrissy Teigen<\/strong> mean tweets scandal has changed shape \u2014 thanks to fashion designer Michael Costello<\/strong>\u2018s disputed claims of bullying and Chrissy AND\u00a0John Legend<\/strong> starting to fight back \u2014 something is getting lost in the shuffle here.<\/p>\n

Or should we say someone\u2026?<\/p>\n

While the Cravings<\/em> author wrote a really strong piece admitting her culpability as an internet troll and discussing personal growth and forgiveness, some people feel that she might have skirted over her actual victims<\/em>.<\/p>\n

She said she was in the process of reaching out in private, but both\u00a0Courtney Stodden<\/strong> AND Farrah Abraham<\/strong> \u2014 two of the first to point out cruelty thrown their way \u2014 have maintained the supermodel has NOT reached out to them.<\/p>\n

In a new interview on the\u00a0Cancel Me, Baby<\/em> podcast with\u00a0Taylor Ferber<\/strong>, Farrah reveals she STILL has not gotten that apology for being trashed online with tweets like:<\/p>\n

\u201cfarrah abraham now thinks she is pregnant from her sex tape. in other news<\/a> you\u2019re a w**** and everyone hates you whoops not other news sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The\u00a0Teen Mom<\/em> star points out Chrissy seems to be \u201cdoing a public apology and not addressing the exact people or person\u201d she hurt.<\/p>\n

She says:<\/p>\n

\u201cI never have received an apology. I also did mention an apology to my daughter. And it doesn\u2019t need to be privately, it should be publicly, just like she publicly was calling me out and saying I was a whore.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Farrah then mentions how she was \u201cactually going through bereavement\u201d and was in a \u201cdepressive\u201d state at the time \u2014 another great reason not to go after people you don\u2019t know on the internet. You don\u2019t know what they\u2019re going through. Trust us. We know.<\/p>\n

She continues:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m happ<\/a>y that Chrissy Teigen at least to some degree is trying to apologize, but she is actually not committing to actually apologizing to her victims, and that is the true state.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hilariously self aware, Farrah goes on to point out she\u2019s something of an expert on offending people from her time as an MTV<\/strong> reality star. She says:<\/p>\n

\u201cI understand from me having to apologize to people what a real apology is and how that really helps people.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ha!<\/p>\n

Farrah says she doesn\u2019t need a personal message but does think Chrissy should be putting out individual apologies in public.<\/p>\n

However, next she gets savage, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel sorry for her, that\u2019s why I just said, please go get some mental help. Not only for her but her husband and her children, the abusive culture that she brings is not OK, and no one should ever be famous for that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Damn!<\/p>\n

OK, we were 100% picking up what Farrah was throwing down before that statement.<\/p>\n

Chrissy hasn\u2019t technically apologized to the people she\u2019s wronged; if anything her apologies were directed more to her fans. Not only that, Farrah\u2019s point about Chrissy being more of a \u201cbully\u201d than a troll is a fair one. The Lip Sync Battle<\/em> host said in her\u00a0Medium<\/em> essay that she \u201cthought it made me cool and relatable if I poked fun at celebrities.\u201d and admitted how wrong that was:<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t just attacking some random avatar, but hurting young women \u2014 some who were still girls \u2014 who had feelings. How could I not stop and think of that? Why did I think there was some invisible psycho-celebrity formula that prevents anyone with more followers from experiencing pain?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But she didn\u2019t mention anyone by name. And she didn\u2019t mention that she was more famous the young women she was mocking \u2014 meaning she was punching down, which is<\/em> more of a bully move than a troll move.<\/p>\n

BUT\u2026<\/p>\n

Telling her now that she needs mental help, when she\u2019s already been public about her years of therapy, that feels like it\u2019s going too far. Even if the pain is brought on by a person\u2019s own doing, it\u2019s still pain. It\u2019s still suffering. It\u2019s still brutal.<\/p>\n

Bullying a former bully for bullying doesn\u2019t exactly even out anyone\u2019s karma.<\/p>\n

What do YOU think? Is Farrah entitled to express her anger in that way? She is one of the wronged parties, after all. Or did she go too far??<\/p>\n
