The Issue: Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa\u2019s victory in the Republican primary for mayor.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If Curtis Sliwa does not become the next mayor, this once-thriving city will face possible extinction. Mayor de Blasio has assured us of that (\u201cCurtis romps to GOP win,\u201d June 23).<\/p>\n

If Sliwa\u2019s Democratic opponent is elected, the new slogan for New York City will be: \u201cMore of the same.\u201d Democrats have proven time and time again that they are incapable of running America\u2019s large cities.<\/p>\n

Sliwa will bring his long-recognized philosophies of crime elimination and prevention to a location that is screaming for change.<\/p>\n

It is long past time that Democrats realize that the only way to evoke change is to elect a Republican. If not, they will once again reap what they have sown. <\/p>\n

I was very surprised that The Post endorsed Eric Adams for mayor.<\/p>\n

Adams is just another politician who speaks out of both sides of his mouth. It would be nice if you would give equal time to Curtis Sliwa, the Republican candidate, as he will certainly have an uphill battle going against the well-oiled Democratic machine.<\/p>\n

Sliwa tells it like it is. He\u2019s a fighter and a true New Yorker who will bring law and order back to the city. He\u2019s clearly what this city needs to get back on track.<\/p>\n

Congrats to Sliwa on winning his party\u2019s nomination for mayor.<\/p>\n

Here is a man who not only speaks his mind, but also takes the necessary action to correct the problem. He definitely is the right man for the job of our next mayor. If this city has eight more years of Democratic mayors, it certainly will be more of a disastrous mess than it already is.<\/p>\n

Sliwa is for adding more police on our streets to make them safe. He will get the job done of cleaning up our city and returning it to its former vibrancy, and the Big App<\/a>le will once again shine with pride.<\/p>\n

I am amazed that The Post and Michael Goodwin both totally ignore the Republican candidate for mayor, Curtis Sliwa. Curtis has shed his blood in New York\u2019s defense his entire life.<\/p>\n

You want law and order? Curtis will give it to you. He will truly be the unshakeable boulder that New York needs, given the crazy laws the Democrats have passed, which gave \u201cget out of jail free\u201d tickets to so many dangerous criminals.<\/p>\n

Wake up before it\u2019s too late for this once great city. <\/p>\n

The Issue: The FBI\u2019s raid on Joseph Bolanos, who attended President Donald Trump\u2019s Jan. 6 speech.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I echo Miranda Devine\u2019s suggestion that the FBI is using excessive methods to track down potential domestic terrorists (\u201cFBI tears NYer\u2019s life into shreds,\u201d June 24).<\/p>\n

I believe that swat or military-style raids on the homes of nonviolent people, such as Joseph Bolanos, are tactics intended to intimidate, suppress and punish \u00adpotential political opponents (and there is no \u00adevidence as of yet that Bolanos did anything wrong).<\/p>\n

These are tactics of totalitarian regimes, such as Communist China and the former Soviet Union.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the thugs who looted and destroyed property in New York City last year were let off scot-free.<\/p>\n

What our government did to Joseph Bolanos was disgusting, but what his neighbors did to him was far worse.<\/p>\n

They scorned and turned their backs on him without any real, concrete information, They should be ashamed of themselves.<\/p>\n
