Tom Brady might be able to give Michael Jordan a run as king of the grudge-holders.<\/p>\n

Five days after a teaser offered just a taste of Brady\u2019s vengeance side, an extended version of the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback\u2019s conversation was released by HBO\u2019s \u201cThe Shop\u201d. <\/p>\n

And it ups the vitriol for the mystery team that expressed interest in Brady as a free agent in 2020 but backed off at the end.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I look back, I\u2019m thinking \u2018There\u2019s no f\u2013king way I would\u2019ve went to that team,\u2019\u201d Brady said, the volume of his voice increasing and his finger pointing. \u201cBut they said they didn\u2019t want me! And know what that means! I know what that feels like! And I\u2019m going to f\u2013k you up because of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well then.<\/p>\n

Jordan and Brady often are compared as the G.O.A.T.s in their respective sports. Jordan\u2019s infamous grudges were detailed during the 2020 docuseries \u201cThe Last Dance.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Now we are getting a taste of Brady\u2019s.<\/p>\n

NFL social media<\/a> was ablaze earlier this week when the first clip was revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a story in free agency: One of the teams was interested and then all of a sudden they weren\u2019t interested at the very end,\u201d Brady said. \u201cI was sitting there thinking, \u2018You\u2019re sticking with that motherf\u2013ker. Are you serious?\u201d<\/p>\n

Brady ultimately left the Patriots after 20 seasons to sign with the Buccaneers. The Chargers reportedly were the other finalist in his decision. <\/p>\n

ESPN reported this week that the Saints were a quiet dark horse in the running for Brady but had to back out when Drew Brees surprisingly decided to play one more season before retirement.<\/p>\n

It seems unlikely \u2013- but anything is possible -\u2013 that Brady would speak of his Brees in such disrespectful terms. They are both headed to the Hall of Fame and rank No. 1 and No. 2 in career passing yards and passing touchdowns. <\/p>\n

So, the only hope of figuring out the mystery might be to pay extra close attention to which team Brady beats on with a big lead in the future. \u00a0\n <\/p><\/div>\n
