A knife-wielding man slashed an individual at a park in Hell\u2019s Kitchen Saturday afternoon and then fled, cops said.<\/p>\n

Police said the ugly episode occurred at 1:40 p.m. when the unhinged suspect \u201cslashed another park occupant\u201d at McCaffrey Playground near Times Square.<\/p>\n

The suspect \u2014 described as about 40-to-50-years old, wearing a gray shirt and blue pants \u2014 then fled eastbound out of the park, located on West 43rd Street, between 8th and 9th avenues, an NYPD spokesman said.<\/p>\n

No information was immedia<\/a>tely available regarding the victim, but cops said the individual\u2019s injuries were non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477)\n <\/p><\/div>\n
