{"id":285097,"date":"2021-06-27T16:13:15","date_gmt":"2021-06-27T13:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/grandmothers-mementos-found-in-florida-condo-rubble\/"},"modified":"2021-06-27T16:13:15","modified_gmt":"2021-06-27T13:13:15","slug":"grandmothers-mementos-found-in-florida-condo-rubble","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/grandmothers-mementos-found-in-florida-condo-rubble\/","title":{"rendered":"#Grandmother&#8217;s mementos found in Florida condo rubble"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Grandmother&#8217;s mementos found in Florida condo rubble<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The family of a grandmother who is still unaccounted for following the\u00a0Florida building collapse says cherished keepsakes belonging to her were discovered in the rubble \u2014 giving them hope that they will find her alive.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Noriega, 36, said he stumbled across an old photo of his missing grandmother, Hilda Noriega, 92, her late husband and their infant son in the mangled debris when he and his father rushed to Champlain Towers South following the disaster on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome miracles are very big, others are small,\u201d Mike said.<\/p>\n<p>There was also a birthday card in the rubble that Hilda\u2019s friends from prayer group sent her two weeks earlier with the acronym \u201cESM,\u201d Spanish for \u201chand-delivered,\u201d scrawled across the yellow envelope with a butterfly etching.<\/p>\n<p>Noriega said the family is clinging to hope that Hilda will be found alive after finding the mementos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a message in the mess of all this,\u201d Mike said. \u201cIt means not to give up hope.
