Former Skid Row singer Johnny Solinger has reportedly died at the age of 55. <\/p>\n

The performer passed away on Saturday, about a month after he told fans that he\u2019d been diagnosed with liver failure, according to reports. <\/p>\n

Skid Row\u2019s official Instagram page posted a tribute to the rocker on Saturday that read, \u201cWe are saddened to hear the news<\/a> of our brother Johnny Solinger. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

The message continued, \u201cGodspeed Singo. Say hello to Scrapp<\/a>y for us,\u201d making a nod to Solinger\u2019s late grandfather, Willard Jesse \u201cScrappy\u201d Smith, the namesake for his solo album \u201cScrappy Smith,\u201d according to Newsweek<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Instagram post was signed \u201cmuch love\u201d from members Rachel Bolan, ZP Theart, Snake Sabo, Rob Hammersmith and Scotti Hill. <\/p>\n

Bolan wrote in a separate Instagram tribute<\/a>, \u201cRIP Singo. Get yourself a piece of pie with Scrappy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Solinger joined the popular band in 1999 as a replacement for Sebastian Bach. He said farewell to the group in 2015 and was replaced by Tony Harnell.<\/p>\n

Solinger is on several Skid Row albums, including the \u201cThickskin,\u201d \u201cRevolutions per Minute,\u201d \u201cUnited World Rebellion\u201d and \u201cRise Of The Damnation Army,\u201d according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The musician was reportedly married to actress Paula Marcenaro, who shared a heartfelt quote, attributed to Elisabeth K\u00fcbler-Ross\u00a0and David Kessler, following Solinger\u2019s passing. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe reality is that you will grieve forever,\u201d Marcenaro posted on her Instagram Story, quoting the passage. \u201cYou will not \u2018get over\u2019 the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never ben the same. Nor should you be the same. nor would you want to.\u201d<\/p>\n

A GoFundMe reportedly organized<\/a> by a friend of Solinger\u2019s, which had raised over $16,000 for Solinger\u2019s medical bills, also confirmed the singer\u2019s death. <\/p>\n

Citing Paula, the page posted: \u201cUpdate from Paula\u2026.Johnny has passed. I was holding his hand. He went in peace. Thank you all. I will take a break from everything but please know I am forever grateful for your love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fan tributes also poured in, with one person writing on Instagram, \u201cRest In Piece Johnny! Hope you\u2019re cookin\u2019 up a storm in heaven,\u201d and another commenting on Skid Row\u2019s post, \u201cHeartbroken. Johnny was a good dude.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
