A new animated series from Rick & Morty<\/em> co-creator Dan Harmon is headed to Apple TV+. The streaming service has ordered Strange Planet<\/i> to series which will be based on the webcomic and graphic novel series from Nathan Pyle. Harmon will work with Pyle on the series and Amalia Levari will serve as showrunner.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Deadline<\/a> revealed the following about the plot of the upcoming Apple TV+ series:<\/p>\n

\u201cPyle\u2019s books feature stories of big eyed, bright blue \u2018beings\u2019 from a planet that shares a lot in common with Earth. The aliens sunbathe and sneeze but describe these actions with phrases like \u2018sun damage\u2019 and \u2018face fluid explosions.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A premiere date and cast for the series will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n
