The New York band returns to the stage this August with a show at White Eagle Hall in New Jersey on August 14 before beginning another run of dates in September, including a performance at Red Rocks on September 22 supporting Portugal. the Man.<\/p>\n<p>The band has also announced a new 12&#8243; single, &#8220;Plant Life,\u201d a physical-only release that won\u2019t be available on the usual streaming services. \u201c\u2018Plant Life\u2019 the song is my story of rediscovering my passion for music through New York City dance floors,\u201d said the band\u2019s Austin Brown in a press release. \u201cIt\u2019s a distillation from a 40 plus minute improvisation prompted by producer Rodaidh McDonald, and every way we\u2019ve sliced it up illustrates a different mood of the same perspective of ecstasy and aspiration to not only grow, but form roots outside of our own barriers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The B-side of the single features two remixes. One is by Vancouver producer Yu Su, who released her album <em>Yellow River Blue<\/em> earlier this year.
