C\u00f8bra responded to the ruling on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I don&#8217;t think you could get a better advertisement of *why* Bitcoin is necessary than what h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened today.<\/p>\n<p>Rules enforced through cryptography are far more superior than rules based on whoever can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in court.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 C\u00f8bra (@CobraBitcoin) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CobraBitcoin\/status\/1409605496080904195?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 28, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>Onter LLP, Wright\u2019s legal representation, celebrated the victory as \u201can important development in Dr Wright\u2019s quest to obtain judicial vindication of his copyright in his White Paper.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDr Wright does not wish to restrict access to his<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/craigwright.net\/bitcoin-white-paper.pdf\"> White Paper<\/a>,&#8221; wrote Onter senior associate, Simon Cohen. &#8220;However, he does not agree that it should be used by supporters and developers of alternative assets, such as Bitcoin Core, to promote or otherwise misrepresent those assets as being Bitcoin given that they do not support or align with the vision for Bitcoin as he set out in his White Paper.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><em>The first days of Bitcoin and Dustin D. Trammell\u2019s emails with Satoshi Nakamoto<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In January, Wright issued letters to bitcoin.org, bitcoin.com, and bitcoincore.org, demanding they remove copies of the Bitcoin whitepaper from their websites and asserting they were infringing his intellectual property.<\/p>\n<p>In April, Wright received permission to serve C\u00f8bra outside of U.K. jurisdiction by email, with the bitcoin.org operator having 22 days to respond from April 26.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, C\u00f8bra tweeted that they had missed the deadline. Responding to speculation they may have missed the deadline to maintain anonymity, Cobra <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CobraBitcoin\/status\/1394794720216424450\">said<\/a>: \u201cNo. I didn&#8217;t show up because defending against nonsense is a waste of time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"law_decoded\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
