However, following his alleged \u201csuicide\u201d that occurred in a Spanish prison cell on June 23, tributes have been flowing en masse for the tech savant, who was also an early proponent of digital currencies \u2014 especially Bitcoin (BTC) and later Monero (XMR).<\/p>\n<p>McAfee had been in exile for the last few years of his life. In this regard, it has been widely reported that the creator of McAfee Antivirus had been on the run from the United States authorities for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/john-mcafee-indicted-tax-evasion\">evading<\/a> his tax liabilities, which were touted to be worth over $4 million. In all, he had been named in a total of 10 federal indictments and was ordered to be extradited to the U.S. mere hours before the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of his suicide surfaced.<\/p>\n<p>After being <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>rehended by local authorities at Barcelona airport last year, McAfee seemed to have acclimatized quite well to his prison surroundings. \u201cI have friends. The food is good. All is well\u201d he <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/officialmcafee\/status\/1316801215083225096\">tweeted<\/a> in October 2020. This, in the eyes of former National Security Agency operative and whistleblower Edward Snowden, seemed to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Snowden\/status\/1407789197264568321\">suggest<\/a> that the U.S. legal system was so fractured that even native-born defendants \u201cwould rather die in a prison cell abroad\u201d than become subject to such an unfair system.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Did_McAfee_predict_his_untimely_demise\"><\/span>Did McAfee predict his untimely demise?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>One of the strangest aspects of this entire development is that over the course of the last few years, McAfee repeatedly emphasized the fact that American officials had been sending him subtle yet fairly explicit messages suggesting that his time here was nearly done and that he was going to be \u201csuicided\u201d soon. <\/p>\n<p>On the subject, one of his tweets alarmingly <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/officialmcafee\/status\/1200864283766251521\">read<\/a>: \u201cU.S. officials saying, in effect: \u2018We\u2019re coming for you, McAfee! We\u2019re going to kill yourself.\u2019 I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn\u2019t. I was whackd. Check my right arm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, in one of his <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/officialmcafee\/status\/1316801215083225096\">statements<\/a>, he made it clear that in case he was ever found hanging in his cell, it would be through no fault of his own but rather an attempt \u201ca la Epstein\u201d to silence him. McAfee claimed that he had a lot of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/An0nym0usNobody\/status\/1407797017699438594\">inside dirt<\/a> on many of the world\u2019s elites, government organizations, etc., even going as far as saying that he was going to start \u201cnaming names\u201d \u2014 including a top-ranked Central Intelligence Agency employee who had directly been involved in a lot of sketchy business.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in an <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/International\/wireStory\/widow-antivirus-pioneer-john-mcafee-suicidal-78486382\">interview<\/a> given by McAfee\u2019s widow, Janice, on June 25, she claimed that the British-American tycoon was not even the least bit \u201csuicidal\u201d when she last spoke to him, which was apparently just a few hours before his body was discovered in his cell. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"John McAfee Is 99% Certain He Knows Who Satoshi Nakamoto Is\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KKNr_y5eeyo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And while authorities claim that there is nothing suspicious about the tech titan\u2019s death, following the aforementioned revelations, people all over <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> have been saying that there might have been \u201cfoul play\u201d involved.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, just a day before his untimely death, Spain\u2019s National Court announced that it had come to an agreement with U.S. authorities regarding McAfee\u2019s extradition \u2014 with the final decision still pending and subject to additional judicial inquiry. In fact, McAfee and his legal counsel had already <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/in.news.yahoo.com\/mcafees-widow-software-entrepreneur-not-161131958.html\">devised<\/a> a plan of action to appeal the decision, further suggesting that the pressure of the extradition alone may have not caused McAfee to resort to suicide.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"McAfees_mysterious_final_post_on_Instagram\"><\/span>McAfee\u2019s mysterious final post on Instagram<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Shortly after news of his demise started doing rounds online, calls for McAfee\u2019s death being planned started to gain a lot of traction. Firstly, the flames were ignited when McAfee\u2019s official Instagram account <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rothschildmd\/status\/1407806542053789698\">shared<\/a> an image of the letter \u201cQ,\u201d supposedly shortly after his death.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cQ\u201d in question here is in direct reference to the QAnon conspiracy theory that suggests that a group of elite pedophiles run a global child sex trafficking ring and have a direct say in how the American administration runs. What\u2019s more, the theory also suggests that this cabal of high-ranked elites can manipulate the global economy thanks to their control of the fractional banking system.<\/p>\n<p>As expected, as a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.in\/tech\/news\/qanon-followers-are-already-spreading-epstein-like-conspiracy-theories-about-john-mcafees-reported-suicide\/articleshow\/83797357.cms\">result<\/a> of the post, a large number of QAnon influencers on Telegram started sharing images claiming that McAfee was just another sacrificial pawn \u2014 much like Jeffery Epstein \u2014 and had to be \u201csuicided\u201d due to the secrets he possessed regarding those in power across the globe.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Killswitch_engaged_but_where_is_all_the_information\"><\/span>Killswitch engaged, but where is all the information?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In a tweet from late 2019, McAfee noted in no uncertain terms that if he were to ever \u201cdisappear\u201d mysteriously, he would <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-9726571\/Tweet-sparks-conspiracy-theories-linking-John-McAfees-death-Miami-condo-collapse.html\">release<\/a> some 31-plus terabytes of incriminating data (related to various government officials as well as those in positions of power) to the media. However, even as people all over the world continue to wait quite eagerly for this information, no such data seems to have been made available so far. <\/p>\n<p>In fact, he even allegedly wrote in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-9726571\/Tweet-sparks-conspiracy-theories-linking-John-McAfees-death-Miami-condo-collapse.html\">message<\/a> that he has a stash of sensitive data that is backed up in a number of hard drives and has been stored in his condo near 88th Street, north of Miami Beach. That said, a quick look at McAfee\u2019s feed shows no such post, suggesting that the message may have been tweeted and later deleted or could have been a total figment of imagination, to begin with. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"John McAfee: I Could Bring Down the US Government\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FJWbg7YLWZA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Over the last couple of years, McAfee had continued to associate himself with many conspiracies, as is made evident by the fact that in one of his posts, he depicted himself standing in front of Jeffrey Epstein, the multi-millionaire and convicted sex offender, who was also the victim of an alleged \u201cforced suicide.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>As part of the photo\u2019s caption in his \u201cQ\u201d Instagram post, he <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/john-mcafee-instagram-qanon-death-b1871672.html\">added<\/a>: \u201cI never said Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. I said he didn\u2019t commit suicide. Not the same. Could be alive. Could have never existed. Maybe murdered. I dunno. I only know he didn\u2019t commit suicide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, the tech entrepreneur had recently even <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/q-post-john-mcafee-instagram-222009800.html\">launched<\/a> a cryptocurrency called Pizza that advertised itself with an image of Hillary Clinton eating pizza. The asset seemed to be a direct reference to the Pizzagate conspiracy theory, which garnered a lot of traction a couple of years ago after the former Secretary of State\u2019s emails were leaked online through Wikileaks.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Will_the_story_of_John_McAfee_live_on\"><\/span>Will the story of John McAfee live on?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Born in 1945 to an American father who was serving in the army and stationed in the United Kingdom at the time, McAfee received his Ph.D. in mathematics before making his way to Silicon Valley in the late-1970s. Within a decade and a half, he was not only working for Lockheed but also spending a substantial portion of his personal time looking at software solutions that could help combat the growing problem of computer viruses.<\/p>\n<p>In the early 90s, John established McAfee Associates from the comfort of his home and started devising novel solutions to help combat various digital threats that were prevalent at the time. For example, Bitcoin influencer and podcaster Anthony Pompliano <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/APompliano\/status\/1407786961629241345\">shared<\/a> a post remembering McAfee as a \u201ckind, funny, and incredibly intelligent,\u201d individual. Similarly, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, too, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IOHK_Charles\/status\/1407782812401291268\">spoke<\/a> highly of McAfee\u2019s contributions to the domain of computer <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a>s, calling the man \u201cone of the most enigmatic and interesting people in the cryptocurrency space and the history of computing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While there will always be people who either believe or disbelieve the narrative that the U.S. government had a role to play in McAfee\u2019s death, the fact of the matter is that he did claim that he had a lot of dirt on the global elites.
