“#Could ‘For Life’ Be Brought Back to Life on IMDb TV?<\/strong>”

With so many fan-favorite shows getting the axe this season (Manifest<\/em>, Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist<\/em>, All Rise<\/em>, Prodigal Son<\/em>.), the chances of any getting picked up by other platforms are slim\u2026 but not for all.<\/p>\n

Though it was canceled back in May after two seasons on ABC, For Life<\/em> may now be getting a second life on IMDb TV.<\/p>\n

The free, ad-supported platform recently acquired the streaming rights for the show\u2019s first two seasons. Depending on its streaming performance, For Life<\/em> could be renewed for a third season on the platform.<\/p>\n

According to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>, the cast of For Life<\/em> has extended their options with the show\u2019s studios, Sony Pictures Television and ABC Signature Studios, as they wait to see how the drama performs on IMDb TV.<\/p>\n

Recently-canceled Manifest<\/em> was in a similar situation, having climbed to the top of Netflix\u2019s Top 10 List the first week it was added to the streamer. Unfortunately, the mystery\u2019s streaming success wasn\u2019t enough to save it, as Netflix and other platforms passed on renewing the show. Whether or not this will be the case for For Life<\/em>, we will have to wait and see.<\/p>\n

After the show\u2019s cancellation, For Life<\/em> star Nicholas Pinnock took to Twitter<\/a>, thanking fans who supported the show and encouraging them to fight for a third season.<\/p>\n
