\nDateline: Kentwood, Louisiana where paparazzi cameras have captured\u00a0Britney Spears<\/strong>\u2018 dad in new footage \u2014 the first clips, in fact, since his daughter\u2019s bombshell conservatorship reveal late last week.<\/p>\n

Jamie Spears<\/strong> was photographed publicly by paparazzi cameras at a storage facility on the outskirts of Kentwood over the weekend. In the photos, the 68-year-old can be seen signing papers along with an unidentified man, while seated at what app<\/a>ears to be a desk with a Monster Energy<\/strong> poster or flag draped over the side.<\/p>\n

Spears himself is shown in glasses and a white t-shirt while seated; he\u2019s also wearing a Monster Energy hat while waving his hands and gesticulating during his talk with the other man. Several outlets note the elder Spears \u201clooked more feeble\u201d and worse for the wear than the last time he was seen in public, but he doesn\u2019t seem that way to us. Really, he just looks like a 68-year-old guy doing\u2026 whatever it is 68-year-old guys do.<\/p>\n

Also on the premises was a trailer for his catering company,\u00a0Cookin\u2019, Cruzin\u2019, & Chaos\u00a0<\/strong>(aptly named\u2026). And yes, if you clicked through and saw it in the pictures, your eyes do not deceive you: the company\u2019s slogan really is \u201cput a little south in your mouth.\u201d Staying classy, we see!<\/p>\n

The whole thing went to another level, though, when the New York Times<\/em> reported that the elder Spears apparently lives<\/em> in a trailer that he parks there, outside the storage facility where he was seen in these shots. After selling Britney\u2019s nearby childhood home back in February for a reported $275,000, Jamie allegedly lives in an RV-type vehicle on the lot. Between there and the storage units themselves, the paper of record claims he now looks over assorted memorabilia from the former Mickey Mouse Club<\/em> kid\u2019s long pop music career.<\/p>\n

What a life\u2026<\/p>\n

We have to wonder at least on\u00a0some<\/em> level just how, ummm,\u00a0convenient<\/em> it is that the elder Spears would be seen in such modest, \u201cnormal person\u201d circumstances right at this moment.<\/p>\n

After all, it\u2019s been mere days since Britney first dropped the bomb on the horrors of her conservatorship \u2014 emotional, psychological, physical, financial<\/em>. And now, suddenly, Jamie is seen wearin\u2019 a Monster hat, sittin\u2019 at a Monster desk, livin\u2019 in an RV, hangin\u2019 at the storage facility. You know, just cookin\u2019, cruzin\u2019, and chaos\u2026 or something like that.<\/p>\n

Catch our drift, y\u2019all?! Call us overly skeptical but it seems like he\u2019s trying to show how he\u2019s just a super-normal country dude right as his daughter accuses him of (among other things) controlling her finances? Might this be a PR tactic?!?! And kind of a shrewd one, at that??<\/p>\n
