“#Andy Dick Arrested On Charges Of Assault With A Deadly Weapon

\nLongtime comedia<\/a>n and TV star\u00a0Andy Dick<\/strong> was arrested over the weekend and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n

The incident was first reported on a\u00a0YouTube<\/strong> show called\u00a0Kermit and Friends<\/em> on Tuesday morning. Hours later, per multiple media reports, the Los Angeles Police Department<\/strong> confirmed that they did in fact arrest the troubled comedian on those scary charges.<\/p>\n

Elisa Jordana<\/strong> was the one who broke the news<\/a> first on her aforementioned YouTube show on Monday, explaining to her audience that Dick allegedly assaulted his lover \u2014 identified only as\u00a0Lucas<\/strong> \u2014 with some kind of metal chair. After the alleged assault, Jordana reports that Lucas was immediately rushed to\u00a0Cedars-Sinai Hospital<\/strong>\u00a0in what sounds like some kind of very serious condition.<\/p>\n

She explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe [Andy] could have killed him [Lucas]. I saw pictures, I saw video; it\u2019s not good.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Whoa\u2026<\/p>\n

The LAPD confirmed the long-troubled 55-year-old comedian was arrested and booked back on Saturday, June 26. His bail was reportedly set at $50,000, according to Page Six<\/em>, and both Jordana and that outlet report that the embattled TV star made bail on Tuesday morning. Per\u00a0Radar Online<\/em>, he\u2019s next due in court on this matter on October 25.<\/p>\n

Jordana alleged that the incident was at least in part caused \u2014 or, exacerbated by \u2014 Dick\u2019s app<\/a>arent drinking. She describes it as having spun particularly out of control in recent times, with the\u00a0NewsRadio<\/em> alum allegedly getting \u201cvery aggressive\u201d at times while imbibing.<\/p>\n

She said (below):<\/p>\n

\u201cIt [the drinking] was getting worse and worse and worse. Everyday there was some kind of problem. There were signs something was going to happen. \u2026 There are warning signs with people. It doesn\u2019t happen out of the blue. When I heard he was in jail, I wasn\u2019t that surprised. [It\u2019s good that he\u2019s safe] and we don\u2019t have to worry that he is going to die today.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Jordana goes on to allege how Dick was recently evicted from his home, and had temporarily moved into a hostel. He was kicked out of that situation after bringing in a group of 11 people, however; it\u2019s unclear where he was living more recently. She also alleged that he \u201cstole cutlery\u201d and \u201ca wine glass\u201d and \u201cplates\u201d from a restaurant recently, even apparently calling her to come help him because he didn\u2019t have money to pay the tab.<\/p>\n
