If Elvis Presley is always on your mind, you\u2019re in luck.<\/p>\n

Fans of the King of Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll probably got all shook up with Wednesday\u2019s announcement<\/a> of a free, dedicated streaming channel \u2014 the Elvis Presley Channel, launching in early 2022 \u2014 through a new deal between Elvis Presley Enterprises and Cinedigm.<\/p>\n

The channel will include archival content and specials featuring Presley, as well as music content from other major rock \u2018n\u2019 roll artists. The channel will honor the \u201cLove Me Tender\u201d artist, who sold more than 1 billion records worldwide and was nominated for 14 Grammy Awards before his death in 1977.<\/p>\n

Presley also app<\/a>eared in over 30 films, including 1957\u2019s \u201cJailhouse Rock,\u201d 1963\u2019s \u201cFun in Acapulco\u201d and 1969\u2019s \u201cChange of Habit.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the AVOD channel, Cinedigm will feature Presley programming and exclusive specials and documentaries including \u201cSinger Presents \u2026 Elvis\u201d (also known as the \u201c\u201968 Comeback Special\u201d), \u201cAloha from Hawaii via Satellite\u201d and \u201cElvis By the Presleys.\u201d The Elvis Presley Channel will also showcase rare home footage from the Graceland Archives.<\/p>\n

Cinedigm plans to tap into the archives of legends including Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison. Specials will look at cities such as Memphis that influenced rock \u2018n\u2019 roll, and the channel will also stream music documentaries.<\/p>\n

Cinedigm is planning to make\u00a0the Elvis Presley Channel\u00a0available in the US and Canada and expects to distribute the programming via partners including Samsung, Pluto, Roku,\u00a0Hulu, Amazon and Tubi.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are few individuals more iconic than Elvis Presley; he transcends time, genre and medium,\u201d said Erick Opeka, president of Cinedigm Digital Networks. \u201cThe opportunity to build a branded channel around Elvis opens up streaming possibilities to an entirely new demographic in the fastest-growing segment of the ad-supported business. The channel will allow a whole new audience to experience Elvis, while also giving his fans a more in-depth look at their idol.\u201d<\/p>\n

The announcement follows Cinedigm\u2019s 2020 launch of\u00a0the Bob Ross Channel, which showcases the paintings and key moments from hundreds of episodes of the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to partner with Cinedigm to launch the Elvis Presley Channel,\u201d said Marc Rosen, president of entertainment at ABG, which owns Elvis Presley Enterprises. \u201cThe Elvis fandom is incredibly passionate, and Cinedigm is best-in-class when it comes to serving fervent fan bases.\u201d<\/p>\n

This announcement comes just a day after one of Hawaii\u2019s most iconic resorts\u00a0\u2014 the Coco Palms Resort, that once welcomed Presley \u2014 was set to be demolished after nearly 30 years of abandonment. The late Presley also received recent pushback from legendary music producer Quincy Jones<\/a>, who stated in last month that he refused to work with Presley because Jones felt that he was racist.\n <\/div>\n
