“#’Virgin River’: Who Shot Jack? (POLL)<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Netflix may have answered one of our burning questions with the Virgin River<\/em> Season 3 trailer revealing Jack (Martin Henderson) survives, but we\u2019re still left wondering who shot him and left him for dead in his bar.<\/p>\n

At the end of Season 2, Jack had been expecting Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) to join him, but whoever walked in shot him. By the time she showed up, he was on the ground, bleeding. Pretty much the only people we could rule out were Mel, Preacher (Colin Lawrence), Doc (Tim Matheson), Hope (Annette O\u2019Toole), and Mike (Marco Grazzini).<\/p>\n

The trailer doesn\u2019t offer up any clues, really. Jack is eager to do something<\/em> about what happ<\/a>ened, asking Mike, \u201cWhat do you want me to do? You want me to sit around at home waiting for the shooter to turn himself in?\u201d He appears to get in a scuffle with Jimmy (Ian Tracey), who is Calvin\u2019s (David Cubitt) right-hand man.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Calvin, he has to be the most likely culprit \u2014 whether or not he pulled the trigger himself \u2014 considering the role Jack played in interfering with his drug operation. But tied to Calvin is also Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth), who served with Jack and hasn\u2019t had an easy time adjusting to life as a civilian. But he couldn\u2019t kill another man he didn\u2019t know on Calvin\u2019s orders, so unless it was an accidental shooting, we\u2019d be surprised if he\u2019s responsible \u2014 and especially if he wasn\u2019t operating on someone else\u2019s orders.<\/p>\n

The \u201cjoke\u201d guess seems to be Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley), Jack\u2019s ex-girlfriend who\u2019s now pregnant and has decided that, since they\u2019re not going to be together, she\u2019d rather have her (eventual) husband be the twins\u2019 father.<\/p>\n

For all we know, it\u2019s someone we have yet to officially meet but who\u2019s tied either to Jack, Calvin, or even one of the other characters.<\/p>\n

For now, all we can do is wait to see what happens in Season 3 \u2014and wonder if the person might try again since Jack\u2019s still alive and well and apparently doing his own investigating into what happened.<\/p>\n
