Franchise director\u00a0<strong>Justin Lin<\/strong> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cinepop.com.br\/personagem-de-paul-walker-pode-voltar-para-velozes-e-furiosos-10-e-11-revela-diretor-301500\/\">told CinePOP Brazil that he wants to bring back<\/a>\u00a0<strong>Paul Walker<\/strong>\u2018s character Brian O\u2019Conner in the remaining two\u00a0<em>Fast and the Furious\u00a0<\/em>sequels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, Paul and his character Brian are the soul and heart of how we\u2019re able to move forward,\u201d Lin said. \u201cBringing him back is something I think about every day. As we <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roach the end of the franchise, it\u2019s a conversation I\u2019m having. And I think about this possibility every day. But I know the decision to keep the character alive in the franchise was made while I was gone. So I have to be respectful about it. I need to feel good and confident in what happens.\u201d<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->While all of this seems completely in the realm of fantasy, it\u2019s not. After his untimely death in 2013, Walker\u2019s brothers Cody and Caleb were used to help recreate his likeness in unfinished scenes for\u00a0<em>Furious 7.\u00a0<\/em>The script was also reworked to give the character a proper sendoff, so his absence in future\u00a0<em>Fast and the Furious\u00a0<\/em>films would make sense. With the character still alive, however, the possibility to bring him back is always there. Similar techniques were used for\u00a0<strong>Brandon Lee<\/strong> on\u00a0<em><strong>The Crow\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and\u00a0<strong>Carrie Fisher<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>in\u00a0<em><strong>The Rise of Skywalker<\/strong><\/em>. Late actor\u00a0<strong>Peter Cushing<\/strong> was even entirely digitally recreated for\u00a0<em><strong>Rogue One: A Star Wars Story<\/strong><\/em>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> is there, mostly, though the uncanny valley sometimes peeks out from behind those computer-rendered eyes. These examples aren\u2019t without their issues, however, and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/film\/2017\/jan\/16\/rogue-one-vfx-jon-knoll-peter-cushing-ethics-of-digital-resurrections\">many have questioned the ethics of bringing back dead performers digitally<\/a>. In this instance, however, there is quite a bit of support from Walker\u2019s family. Both <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6PKoG1lV4qg\">Cody and Caleb have said that they are open to returning<\/a> to the franchise as Brian.<\/p>\n<p>Brian\u2019s wife, Mia Toretto (<strong>Jordana Brewster<\/strong>) returned to the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> in\u00a0<em><strong>F9<\/strong><\/em>, so there are narrative possibilities for bringing Brian back into the fold. While it would be expensive and probably pretty difficult to give Brian a major role in the final two films, there\u2019s still a very real possibility he could get a cameo.<\/p>\n<p>Just picture it: the #family all gathers together for a backyard barbeque to celebrate defeating Cipher. Dom (<strong>Vin Diesel<\/strong>) reaches for a cold one and who hands to to him but his partner from the first seven movies in the franchise, Brian. It would be a heartwarming end to a series which focused heavily on the relationship between the two men. If the Walker family is on board, and Lin really wants to do it, bringing Brian back for one final goodbye wouldn\u2019t be so terrible.
