After it, it may be the only option left. NBC canceled the drama earlier this month and soon after, Netflix decided not to pick it up in spite of its excellent performance there. We\u2019re a little confused about that, but it serves as yet another that the streaming service really isn\u2019t in the business of saving shows anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Will someone out there be interested in picking this movie up? That remains to be seen but speaking to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tv\/manifest-creator-planning-movie-ending-after-cancellation\/?utm_campaign=entertainmentweekly_entertainmentweekly&amp;utm_content=new&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter.com&amp;utm_term=60dcd6a2b9a1150001df307a\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, Rake laid out what he\u2019s trying to accomplish here:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Twenty days after we\u2019ve premiered on Netflix, I\u2019ve kind of moved away from the plan of finding a home for seasons 4, 5, and 6 of\u00a0<em>Manifest<\/em>, even though I\u2019ve always talked about\u00a0<em>Manifest<\/em>\u00a0being a six-season show. Back in the day, I laid out a six-season roadmap for NBC, and I\u2019m halfway through. I had giant cliffhangers in the season 3 finale, so I had every intention to have three more seasons to slow-burn the back half of the story. I\u2019m reading the writing on the wall that we may not find a home for three more seasons of the show, so I moved to plan B: Some platform would bankroll a feature or a movie finale, like we saw with\u00a0<em>Timeless<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Firefly<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Deadwood<\/em>. I just need a modest budget to tell the story.\u00a0I am personally sketching out how to consolidate the back half of the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> into a much more streamlined, cut-to-the-chase two-hour finale that would distill all of the hanging chads of the series. That\u2019s where my head is at. There is a huge <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>etite for people wanting to know what\u2019s that end of the story, what happened to the passengers, what ultimately happened to that airplane.<\/p>\n<p>It may sound counterintuitive in a way, but we actually think that NBC may be the best home for a movie farewell \u2014 they opted to do this with\u00a0<em>Timeless\u00a0<\/em>after first canceling it, and they already have an infrastructure in place for delivering on this particular story.
