It\u2019s also pretty impactful given that we\u2019re gearing up for the end of the show. The first part of the final season premieres on Sunday, August 22, and the Commonwealth story is sneaking up on us pretty fast!<\/p>\n<p>The new teaser below offers up a first look at Michael James Shaw as comic character Mercer, a leading officer of the Commonwealth\u2019s soldiers. His uniform is red, a sharp contrast to a lot of the folks in white we\u2019ve already seen on the show. For those unfamiliar, the Commonwealth is one of the most advanced societies that we\u2019ve seen in the\u00a0<em>Walking Dead\u00a0<\/em>world \u2014 there\u2019s so much more to be explored here beyond what we\u2019ll probably see in a single season. Yet, it may do the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> some good to know that there\u2019s an end coming \u2014 even if in some ways, there isn\u2019t given that we know there\u2019s a spin-off ahead with Daryl and Carol.<\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest preliminary takeaways from the teaser is that Lauren Cohan is going to be\u00a0<em>way\u00a0<\/em>more involved as Maggie. She turned up at the end of season 10 and in the bonus episodes, but she\u2019s poised now to be a full-fledged regular.
