10. Tinashe featuring Buddy, \u201cPasadena\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a vibe, feelin\u2019 right,\u201d sings Tinashe on this blissed-out bop with rapp<\/a>er Buddy. With its feel-good mood and trip<\/a>py, skittery beats, you may not be able to help yourself from skipping all the way to California \u2014 at least in your mind \u2014 when \u201cPasadena\u201d comes on.\u00a0<\/p>\n

7. SAINt JHN featuring SZA, \u201cJust for Me\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last summer, SAINt JHN\u2019s career came all the way up with \u201cRoses,\u201d which hit the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100, and now this Brooklyn-born artist continues to blossom with this summer-lover joint from the upcoming \u201cSpace Jam: A New Legacy\u201d soundtrack, out July 9. SZA \u2014 who has another hot summer collaboration, \u201cKiss Me More,\u201d with Doja Cat \u2014\u00a0is clearly on a roll as a featured artist, but we\u2019re still waiting for her to drop that \u201cCtrl\u201d follow-up already.<\/p>\n

6. Billie Eilish, \u201cLost Cause\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the spooky goth-pop groove of her No. 1 smash \u201cBad Guy,\u201d Eilish left her neon-green mark on the summer of 2019. And she\u2019s set to make another big splash this season with her much-anticipated sophomore album, \u201cHappier Than Ever,\u201d due July 30. After \u201cMy Future,\u201d \u201cTherefore I Am\u201d and \u201cYour Power,\u201d \u201cLost Cause\u201d is the latest preview of the LP, and it casts a jazzy, sultry darkness on summer\u2019s sunny days.<\/p>\n

Having just been nominated for three Grammys in March, including Best New Artist, Doja Cat clearly has some clout on her third album, \u201cPlanet Her,\u201d released last week. The \u201cSay So\u201d singer<\/a> is joined by some\u00a0A-list guests, including Ariana Grande, SZA and The Weeknd, who bring a moody sensuality to their summer-breezy bop \u201cYou Right.\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Megan Thee Stallion, \u201cThot S\u2014t\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s officially not summer until Megan unleashes a juicy \u2014 or make that, thirsty \u2014 jam. First there was \u201cHot Girl Summer\u201d with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign in 2019. And then of course there was \u201cWAP\u201d with Cardi B<\/a> in 2020. Now she\u2019s embracing her thotness over a booming, bump-and-grind beat made for shaking her booty in your face.<\/p>\n

3. Ed Sheeran, \u201cBad Habits\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

After smartly going away for a while, Sheeran returns with a new single that throws it back to the kind of \u201980s synth-pop territory that The Weeknd mined for \u201cAfter Hours\u201d hits such as \u201cBlinding Lights\u201d and \u201cSave Your Tears.\u201d It\u2019s a long way from the folky terrain of \u201cThe A Team\u201d and \u201cThinking Out Loud.\u201d But \u201cBad Habits\u201d proves that Sheeran still has a knack for making ridiculously catchy pop that you\u2019ll be hearing pretty much everywhere this summer.<\/p>\n

2. BTS, \u201cButter\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The creamy-voiced crooners of BTS have already scored a bona-fide summer smash with \u201cButter,\u201d which is currently at No. 1 for its fifth week on the Billboard Hot 100. The latest single from the South Korean sensations \u2014 who last summer topped the charts with their first English-only single, \u201cDynamite\u201d \u2014\u00a0 goes down as smoothly as a frozen mocktail. \u201cSmooth like butter\/Like a criminal undercover\/Gon\u2019 pop like trouble\/Breakin\u2019 into your heart like that,\u201d they sing. And the guilty pleasures of \u201cButter\u201d will surely melt hearts at many a pool, backyard and rooftop hang near you this summer.<\/p>\n

1. Olivia Rodrigo, \u201cGood 4 U\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

After already landing hits with \u201cDrivers License\u201d and then \u201cDeja Vu,\u201d both off her debut album \u201cSour,\u201d Rodrigo keeps her hot streak going with her third single to hit the Top 3 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021. But whereas \u201cDrivers License\u201d and \u201cDeja Vu\u201d found the \u201cHigh School Musical: The Musical: The Series<\/a>\u201d star in her breakup feelings, \u201cGood 4 U\u201d sees the 18-year-old divette cutting loose in a punk-pop rave-up with both Avril-like attitude and Billie-esque bravery.
