Upcoming original anime Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Sh\u014djo <\/em>(The Reverse World\u2019s Battery Girl<\/em>) has received a new trailer, visual, and an October release window.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The premise sees Japan being invaded by an alternate version of the country from another world. This alternate Japan, which has continued the Showa era and is still a militant nation, uses gas and giant humanoid weapons to defeat its normal world counterpart.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Japan becomes a vassal state of its alternate world counterpart after its defeat, and after 10 years, anime, manga, idol, and other similar subcultures seem to have died out as a result of strict censorship. However, a group called Arahabaki battles to preserve these subcultures using weapons called Galandor, which are powered by girls dubbed \u201cBattery Girls.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
