The official website and Twitter<\/a> account for the anime adaptation of Sana Kirioka\u2019s Taisho Otome Otogi Banashi <\/em>manga revealed a new key visual and October premiere date for the anime. The Twitter account also announced that a second promotional video will be released on July 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

The anime\u2019s staff includes Hatori Jun (Beyblade: Metal Fury<\/em>) as director, Fukuda Hiroko (Hayate the Combat Butler<\/em>) as script<\/a>writer, and Watanabe Mayumi (Fairy Tail<\/em>) as character designer. The animation production will be from SynergySP.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0anime\u2019s cast includes Y\u016bsuke Kobayashi as Shima Tamahiko, Saya Aizawa as Tachibana Yuzuki, Yume Miyamoto as Shima Tamako, Chika Anzai as Atsumi Ryo, Ayasa It\u014d as Shiratori Kotori, and Shunichi Toki as Shiratori Hakaru.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Taisho Otome Otogi Banashi <\/em>manga was serialized in Shueisha\u2019s\u00a0Jump SQ<\/em>. magazine from 2015 to 2017. Kirioka then published a sequel titled\u00a0Showa Otome Otogi Banashi<\/em>\u00a0in the\u00a0Shonen Jump+<\/em>\u00a0website, with the fifth and final volume planned for July 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pony Canyon\u2019s YouTube channel released the first promotional video and describes the anime\u2019s story as:<\/span><\/p>\n

The setting is the Taisho Era. Tamahiko, a young man who disappointed his parents after losing the use of his right hand in an accident, is forced to move out of his home under the guise of rehabilitation. Resentful of everything in life, he becomes withdrawn and pessimistic when one day a woman named Yuzuki knocks on his door. She claims she has been sent there by his father to be his bride\u2026<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
