\n Father\u2019s Day is long over, but there\u2019s a new \u201cdaddy\u201d causing a stir.<\/p>\n

Zac Efron \u2014 who morphed from a hunky high schooler in \u201cHigh School Musical\u201d to a ripped lifeguard in 2018\u2019s \u201cBaywatch\u201d reboot \u2014 has reinvented himself yet again in his new Netflix series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans are dubbing the 32-year-old actor a dad with a body to match in \u201cDown to Earth,\u201d a show where he travel<\/a>s the world to experience different cultures and explore environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n

In the episodes, which premiered July 10, Efron\u2019s signature abs and impressive muscles are covered in button-down shirts and baseball caps. The actor, who looks more rugged, also sports longer hair and a beard.<\/p>\n

Viewers called out his physique as looking a bit huskier and labeled him Daddy, slang for an attractive older man.<\/p>\n

\u201cZac Efron has turned into a total Daddy and I\u2019m here for it,\u201d tweeted Robyn Rose. \u201cDad bods get me hot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Efron appears shirtless in the Netflix show, revealing an upper body that is decidedly broader than his \u201cBaywatch\u201d days.<\/p>\n

Fans have taken to social media<\/a> to show their amazement at his transformation. \u201cI\u2019d like Zac Efron\u2019s parents\u2019 phone number so I can just leave a 3 minute voicemail of me applauding,\u201d tweeted @theradiohag.<\/p>\n

In particular, viewers are swooning over his scruff chest hair and lack of a defined six-pack.<\/p>\n

\u201cI realized that when I was done with that movie, I don\u2019t ever want to be in that good of shape again,\u201d the actor said in April, in reference to his erstwhile washboard abs (which took an intense exercise regimen and strict diet to achieve). \u201cYou\u2019re working with almost no wiggle room, right? You\u2019ve got things like water under your skin that you\u2019re worrying about, making your six-pack into a four-pack. S\u2009-\u2009-t like that it\u2019s just not \u2026 it\u2019s just stupid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just because he\u2019s lost his eight-pack, though, doesn\u2019t mean Efron is has sprouted a beer belly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf people are saying Zac Efron as a \u2018dad bod\u2019 looking like this \u2026 there\u2019s no hope for the rest of us,\u201d Ben Hallem of Austin, Texas, tweeted.<\/p>\n
