That included 204,081 Model 3 sedans and Model Y compact SUV. <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       \u201cOur teams have done an outstanding job navigating through global supply chain and logistics challenges,\u201d Tesla said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Analyst Joseph Spak with RBC Capital agreed: \u201cEncouragingly, production outpaced deliveries, and was up (quarter on quarter),\u201d showing Tesla managing through the shortages, he said in a note Friday. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn production, the worst may be over for Tesla from a (semiconductor) shortage standpoint,\u201d although the key will be any potential margin impacts from additional supply issues that could continue through the year, he said. <\/p>\n<p>Tesla stock wavered between gains and losses after the sales and production <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>. The stock has fallen 4% so far this year, contrasting with gains of around 16% for the S&amp;P 500 index.<br \/>\n        SPX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599714\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+0.75%<\/bg-quote>\n      <\/p>\n<p>There have been concerns recently about Tesla sales in China, where the company has faced some backlash over how it  handled consumer complaints, and where a recent recall stoked more worries. Tesla also has had to gr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>le with more competition from Chinese EV makers. <\/p>\n<p>Also on Friday, rival  Li Auto Inc.<br \/>\n        LI,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/219811686\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-5.82%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       reported record June and second-quarter sales for its Li One, and new orders for the car topped 10,000, the company said. <\/p>\n<p>For Gene Munster with Loup Ventures, the quarter sales and production numbers \u201care further evidence of a true growth story\u201d on a combination of \u201cconsumer willingness to purchase EVs, along with Tesla\u2019s winning formula of vehicle performance and value.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: <\/strong>U.S. falls further behind China and Europe in making electric vehicles<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>Tesla is also likely on track to meet or top Wall Street sales expectations for the year, he said.  The company has delivered 386,000 vehicles in the first six months, and the consensus for the year hovers around 853,000. <\/p>\n<p>Typically, Tesla sells between 55% and 59% of its vehicles in the second half of the year, \u201cwhich implies the company\u2019s on pace to deliver between 850,000 and 900,000 vehicles this year,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>Tesla has not provided specific 2021 sales guidance, saying in April that it plans to grow its manufacturing capacity \u201cas quickly as possible,\u201d and that over \u201ca multiyear horizon, we expect to achieve 50% average annual growth in vehicle deliveries.
