{"id":290543,"date":"2021-07-04T01:58:58","date_gmt":"2021-07-03T22:58:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/venice-beach-homeless-camps-finally-being-cleared-out\/"},"modified":"2021-07-04T01:58:58","modified_gmt":"2021-07-03T22:58:58","slug":"venice-beach-homeless-camps-finally-being-cleared-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/venice-beach-homeless-camps-finally-being-cleared-out\/","title":{"rendered":"#Venice Beach homeless camps finally being cleared out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Venice Beach homeless camps finally being cleared out<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>It only took years of outrage, several shootings, multiple other violent attacks and thousands of complaints about filthy beaches littered with syringes and garbage, but Los Angeles finally started to clean up the famed Venice Beach Boardwalk.<\/p>\n<p>Workers finished up phase one of the Venice Beach cleanup, which is the easiest phase, urging the homeless population that was camping out to relocate to shelters, according to the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/homeless-housing\/story\/2021-07-02\/push-to-clear-camps-from-venice-beach-gears-up\">Los Angeles Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Photos show sanitation workers filling their trucks with massive bags of garbage and waste left behind. However, the paper noted, the Los Angeles County sheriff\u2019s deputies who were supposed to be there never showed up.<\/p>\n<p>The city has posted fliers around the beach outlining a five-week plan to restore normal hours of operation of the beach to go alongside a massive cleanup effort, the Times said.
