We can take\u00a0power\u00a0cuts, even 10 hours of\u00a0cuts\u00a0a day, but just give us something,\u201d said Haider Hussein, a 32-year-old laborer.<\/p>\n<p>Power\u00a0went out completely across most of the country\u2019s provinces before dawn, residents said, in some of the worst shortages this year. Iraq\u2019s electricity minister resigned this week under pressure\u00a0over\u00a0the\u00a0power\u00a0crisis, local <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>Haider al-Saidi, a 52-year-old tribal leader\u00a0protesting in Sadr City, blamed the political class that has ruled Iraq since the\u00a0overthrow of Saddam Hussein in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom that regime to this one, still we don\u2019t have enough electricity. What has democracy brought?
