“#Women burn ‘thin blue line’ flag from NYC business<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

A pair of women swiped a \u201cthin blue line\u201d American flag from the front of a Brooklyn business and brazenly burned it on the sidewalk last week, new footage shows<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The duo removed the flag, which symbolizes support for the police, from the front of Nocera Auto Repairs on 17th Street near Third Avenue in South Slope around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The business owner, Eric Nocera, 51, reported the incident to cops two days later, around 8:30 p.m. Friday. He sent a YouTube video<\/a> depicting the incident to The Post Saturday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThese two low lifes claimed [sic] up my shop and took down my flag and set it on fire,\u201d Nocera said in a text to a Post photographer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The footage shows one of the women sitting on the pavement as she lit the flag on fire, section by section \u2014 stopping a few times to snap photos on her phone.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The other woman stood by and watched.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At one point, another person showed up and app<\/a>eared to talk to the duo while looking on.<\/p>\n

By the end of the seven-minute ordeal, all that remained of the flag were a few charred scraps.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Both women fled and remained at large Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On election day in November, Nocera and his adult son, both Trump supporters, showed up outside MS 88 on Seventh Avenue near 18th Street and clashed with voters.<\/p>\n

At one point, Nocera threatened to put one man \u201cin the hospital,\u201d according to video of the incident.\u00a0\n <\/p><\/div>\n
