Our Flag Means Death<\/i> has made several additions to its cast. Taika Waititi stars in the pirate comedy which follows the history of Blackbeard.<\/p>\n

HBO Max shared the following about the plot of the series:<\/p>\n

\u201cOUR FLAG MEANS DEATH<\/i> is loosely based on the true adventures of Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby), a pampered aristocrat who abandoned his life of privilege to become a pirate. The series also stars the previously announced Academy Award\u00ae winner Taika Waititi as \u201cBlackbeard,\u201d history\u2019s most feared and revered pirate. Additionally, the ensemble cast includes Kristian Nairn, Nathan Foad,\u00a0Samson Kayo, Rory Kinnear, Con O\u2019Neill and Vico Ortiz.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Kristian Nairn (Game<\/a> of Thrones, The Little People<\/i>, internationally renowned DJ) as \u201cWee John Feeney.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nathan Foad (Bloods<\/i>) as \u201cLucius.\u201d<\/p>\n

Samson Kayo (Truth Seekers, The Bubble, Death to 2020<\/i>) as \u201cOluwande.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rory Kinnear (Bond, Penny Dreadful, The Imitation Game<\/i>) as \u201cCaptain Nigel Badminton\u201d and \u201cChauncey Badminton.\u201d<\/p>\n

Con O\u2019Neill (The Batman, The Way of the Wind, Chernobyl<\/i>) as \u201cIzzy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vico Ortiz (Vida, Everything\u2019s Gonna Be Okay, American Horror Story: 1984<\/i>) as \u201cBonifacia.\u201d<\/p>\n
