And while we are being sincere, let\u2019s admit that we knew this going in.<\/p>\n<p>From the trailer, you can tell\u00a0<em>Fatal Affair\u00a0<\/em>won\u2019t go up for any awards. The performances aren\u2019t terrible, but nothing stellar. The story, however, has been done repeatedly. To wow audiences, <em>Fatal Affair\u00a0<\/em>needed something extra \u2013 and this missing ingredient never appears.<\/p>\n<p>If you have already watched\u00a0<em>Fatal Affair\u00a0<\/em>on Netflix, read on! Otherwise, avoid spoilers by exiting the page, unless you are purposely searching for spoilers because you just can\u2019t watch another minute of the movie.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Here_are_some_of_the_best_reactions_and_the_disappointing_finale\"><\/span>Here are some of the best reactions and the\u00a0disappointing finale<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Final spoiler warning! <\/strong>The least\u00a0<em>Fatal Affair\u00a0<\/em>could have done was leave us with some mystery! Instead of hinting that the villain of the story, David (Omar Epps), survives or is back for revenge, we get a happy ending.<\/p>\n<p>Hear me out, it\u2019s not that I\u2019m asking for a repeat of all other similar stories. I\u2019m aware this is the route many <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> in the same genre conclude, but with how uninteresting\u00a0<em>Fatal Affair\u00a0<\/em>was, I\u2019d be lying if I said I wasn\u2019t expecting things to end in suspense.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the finale is very tamed. No one is asking if there will be a sequel because the story is over. People will talk about it for a day or two and move on to the next release on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>For those seeking spoilers: Ellie (Nia Long) and Marcus (Stephen Bishop) manage to fight David off and he falls off the cliff to his death. The family moves to another home (who can blame them?) and everyone is happy in the end.<\/p>\n<p>One <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> user sums up the movie with one word, \u201cTrash.\u201d While I wouldn\u2019t go that far (have you all seen\u00a0<em>Obsesion<\/em>? Now that is one terrible movie), I can feel and understand the disappointment. The tweet below says it all in a better way, \u201cBad flick, but watchable.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<blockquote data-dnt=\"true\" data-width=\"500\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">&#8216;Fatal Affair&#8217; is basically Netflix putting out a Black Lifetime movie, lol.
