Here\u2019s how to do it.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Family_Downloads_Are_Hidden_on_a_Special_Screen\"><\/span>Family Downloads Are Hidden on a Special Screen<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If someone is in your Apple Family Sharing group, you\u2019d think that their purchased apps would automatically be available to download in the Mac App Store whenever you searched for the app. But no, it doesn\u2019t work that way. You\u2019ll have to visit a special screen to get to those apps.<\/p>\n<p>To do so, open the Mac App Store on your Mac and log in with your Apple ID if necessary. On Catalina or earlier, it\u2019s in the upper-left corner. On Big Sur or later, you\u2019ll find \u201cPurchased By\u201d near the upper-right corner of the window.
