A boat passenger is missing after the vessel\u2019s operator allegedly drunkenly crashed into a jetty off Long Island early Monday morning, police said.<\/p>\n

Jack Benjamin, 25, was charged with boating while intoxicated after the crash in the Great South Bay in Sayville at about 1:25 a.m., according to Suffolk County police.<\/p>\n

Five passengers were riding with Benjamin in the boat at the time of the wreck, police said.<\/p>\n

One man, 25, went overboard without a life jacket. He remained missing as of early Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

Benjamin and a female passenger were treated and released from South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore.<\/p>\n

The three other passengers were not injured, police said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
