Florence Pugh<\/strong> thinks the major backlash she has received for dating Zach Braff<\/strong> is NOT because of the MAJOR age gap but for a much, much sillier reason.<\/p>\n

While speaking to The Sunday Times<\/em> ahead of the release of her highly anticipated\u00a0Marvel<\/strong> debut, Black Widow<\/em>, the 25-year-old discussed her controversial relationship with the Garden State<\/i> star (who\u2019s 21 years older than she is), admitting:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it bugs people that it\u2019s not who they expected.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Oh, does she mean someone younger? Well, yes, but not just anyone \u2014 someone specific<\/em>!<\/p>\n

The interviewer asked who was on everyone\u2019s mind, chiming in:<\/p>\n

\u201cWho should [you] be with, then? Timoth\u00e9e?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Bingo! She thinks people wish she was dating Timoth\u00e9e<\/strong> Chalamet<\/strong>, her onscreen love interest from Little Women<\/em>! She explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cExactly. But it\u2019s my life and I\u2019m not doing anything to please people or to make it a better headline or story. I want to also be a person!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The duo certainly were beloved by many filmgoers and looked HAWT together, but the chemistry wasn\u2019t there for the peers off-screen \u2014 since Pugh had her eyes on a much older guy!<\/p>\n
