Joining him will be the superhero team known as Justice Society, but they won\u2019t be the only DC Comics team making an <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance in the movie. According to <em>Black Adam<\/em> co-star <strong>Sarah Shahi<\/strong>, the supervillain team Intergang will be making their debut in <em>Black Adam<\/em>.<span id=\"more-681663\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/sex-life-sarah-shahi-black-adam-1234978403\/\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, actress Sarah Shahi confirmed who she will be playing in the movie, and with it came another big reveal. Shahi said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI play a character named Adrianna, and she\u2019s a freedom fighter that\u2019s leading this big resistance against an evil, malicious group called Intergang.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->For those unfamiliar, Intergang is a supervillain team created by <strong>Jack Kirby<\/strong> that first appeared as Superman villains in the comic <em>Superman\u2019s Pal Jimmy Olsen<\/em> #133. The criminal gang was first formed by Bruno Mannheim, and they were able to tangle with superheroes because they were supplied with weaponry from the New Gods, including Darkseid, who hoped to use them to find the Anti-Life Equation. But how will they tie into Black Adam since that plot device was something that was already exhausted in <em>Justice League<\/em> (and even moreso in Zack Snyder\u2019s director\u2019s cut of the movie)?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-681706 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/dccomics-intergang-classic-700x300.jpg\" alt=\"Intergang in DC Comics\" width=\"700\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/dccomics-intergang-classic.jpg 700w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/dccomics-intergang-classic-360x154.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Does_Intergang_Tie_into_Black_Adam\"><\/span>How Does Intergang Tie into Black Adam?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the pages of the <em>52<\/em> arc of DC Comics, Intergang crossed paths with Black Adam in his homeworld of\u00a0Kahndaq by offering him a bride in the form of Adrianna Tomaz (that\u2019s the character Sarah Shahi is playing) in exchange for the safe passage of their smuggling activity nearby. Black Adam ends up killing the two criminals, but keeping Adrianna around.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re not sure how much the comics of the <em>52<\/em> arc will influence the <em>Black Adam<\/em> movie, but since Adrianna becomes Black Adam\u2019s wife and the superpowered character Isis, we\u2019ll likely see her playing a key role in the movie, especially if she\u2019s leading the charge against Intergang. However, since she\u2019s described as a freedom fighter, perhaps she\u2019s yet to be endowed with superpowers, which come from an Egyptian amulet in the comics.<\/p>\n<p>As for Intergang\u2019s motivations in Black Adam, that remains unclear. We\u2019re not even sure if they\u2019ll still be weaponized by the New Gods since that would create more ties to <em>Zack Snyder\u2019s Justice League<\/em> and Warner Bros. is trying to wrap up that part of the DC Comics franchises.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->Previously, we heard that <strong>Marwan Kenzari<\/strong> had joined the cast as the film\u2019s villain. Rumors pointed to the <em>Aladdin<\/em> co-star playing Ishmael Gregor, AKA Sabbac. Though that character has never been linked to Intergang in the comics, the big screen version of the character will be a New York City mob boss who gains superhuman strength and demon-like appearance after initiating a ritual to possess the powers of Sabbac. That character is part of a superhero team called The Outsiders in DC Comics, but we could easily see him being in charge of Intergang instead without really ruining the comic mythology.<\/p>\n<p>For now, we\u2019re not sure which members of Intergang might be appearing in <em>Black Adam<\/em>.
