\nWale<\/span>\u00a0has been active on\u00a0<\/span>social media<\/span>\u00a0for much of his career, engaging with people and sharing music with his fans. However, it looks like Wale will need to take a break to tend to a more urgent situation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday (July 7), Wale took to his Instagram Story to announce he\u2019s been battling a sickness for almost a week. The illness has affected Wale to the point that he has to step away from social media and halt the plans for his upcoming album\u00a0<\/span>Folarin 2,<\/span><\/em>\u00a0which he\u2019s been teasing for weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am out of commission,\u201d Wale wrote in his Instagram Story. \u201cI been extremely sick since Saturday I\u2019ve missed many calls and texts.. Thank you to everybody who called wit genuine concern. I ain\u2019t sure how long I\u2019ll be down but this shit ain\u2019t slight\u2026 Soon as I can come back strong I\u2019ll be back strong. As for now management will run my socials. Much love, see y\u2019all soon \u2013 Wale.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
