“#Alex Cameron Covers \u201cIslands in the Stream\u201d and \u201cMidsummer Nights\u201d: Listen<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Alex Cameron has covered \u201cIslands in the Stream,\u201d the classic duet written by the Bee Gees and made famous by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, alongside Rogers\u2019 \u201cMidsummer Nights.\u201d Cameron collaborated with the duo Roan Yellowthorn on \u201cIslands in the Stream,\u201d while \u201cMidsummer Nights\u201d features Jonathan Rado. Cameron recorded the songs in celebration of the Bee Gees\u2019 Barry Gibb, who co-wrote both tracks. They originally app<\/a>eared on Kenny Rogers\u2019 1983 album Eyes That See in the Dark<\/em>, which Gibb also co-produced. The covers are the first new music from Cameron since he issued an EP of demos last summer. His most recent full-length was his third album Miami Memory<\/em>, released in 2019.<\/p>\n
