Margo Price performed \u201cHey Child\u201d for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/em>\u2019s #PlayAtHome series<\/a>; she\u2019s joined by vocalist Adia Victoria, Allison Russell, Kam Franklin, and Kyshona Armstrong. The track app<\/a>ears on Price\u2019s most recent studio album That\u2019s How Rumors Get Started<\/em>.<\/em> Check out the performance below.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Price has announced a new live EP. Live From the Other Side<\/em><\/a> arrives July 16 via Loma Vista<\/a>. The live audiovisual EP includes \u201cHey Child,\u201d a cover of the Beatles\u2019 \u201cHelp!\u201d (with Victoria, Russell, Franklin, and Armstrong), and a solo arrangement of \u201cThat\u2019s How Rumors Get Started.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

I hope it kept you warm during those cold, lonely nights. Some things changed for the better, some for the worse. I would also like to dedicate this EP to a hero of all of ours\u2014Ms. Tina Turner. Her work has had such a massive influence on me ever since I heard her story and watched her movie\u00a0What\u2019s Love Got to Do With It<\/em> when I was just 10 years old. Her strength, talent and truth have inspired me endlessly and I loved performing her interpretation of \u201cHelp!\u201d by the Beatles. I believe in the power to manifest your own destiny and I offer Tina\u2019s Buddhist mantra to anyone who may need it: \u201cNamu Myoho Renge Kyo\u201d means \u201cI honor the Universal Mystical Law of Cause and Effect.\u201d Take it with you wherever you go and hope to see you down the highway.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
