A homeless man randomly assaulted a 53-year-old bike rider in Lower Manhattan on Friday morning, cops said.<\/p>\n

The attack occurred just after 10:15 a.m. when 38-year-old Lonnie Watlington slapp<\/a>ed the cyclist with his hand at Liberty and West streets in Battery Park City, according to police. <\/p>\n

The victim suffered a cut to his forehead and was treated on scene, authorities said. <\/p>\n
